Features Brume Canopé - compatible GAR

Brume is an edutainment resource developed by Tralalere for TNE Canopé.
This GAR-compatible version of Brume is available free of charge to all primary school teachers in TNE departments.Brume is an inclusive game for students aged 4 to 10, in which they will discover a magical and playful world during their learning.
They will meet Hood the main character, a polar bear, a squirrel, two dragons, as well as many other creatures.During their exploration, the students will have to take up several challenges and activities combining agility, rhythm and memorization, which will help them to exercise skills for mastering the gesture of writing! In the first type of game, the student will be invited to follow the rhythm played by a character, tapping the screen in rhythm with it.
This game involves listening and cannot be done without sound.
In the second type of game, the student will also be invited to first listen to a rhythm played by a character.
The sound will stop, and the student will then have to repeat what he heard, as faithfully as possible.
Rhythm-related skills have been previously correlated with better mastery of writing gestures, according to research carried out in particular by the University of Poitiers. The third type of game is a game of hide and seek.
The student will then have to follow the movement of an element which will then become invisible, while continuing to move for a few seconds.
When the element has completely disappeared, the student will be invited to touch the screen where he thinks he will find the element.
In the fourth type of game, it is a question of throwing an object, with a slingshot for example, and of managing to imagine the trajectory so that the object reaches its goal.
Both of these games are about exercising the students skills in visuo-spatial planning, a skill again linked to better handwriting. The fifth type of game is a drawing game that requires the student to follow more or less complex and precise paths, depending on his ability to achieve them.
The sixth type is also a fine motor game that involves grasping an item in the middle of something else, such as a leaf between feathers, through a pinching motion of the thumb and forefinger.
Then, it is a question of removing the element which has been seized so that it is no longer disturbing, a bit like removing a thorn.
Similarly, fine motor and written skills are correlated. The difficulty adapts to the students and allows them to always find the challenge that will interest them and allow them to progress, without being too difficult or beyond their reach.Features :18 activities in different environmentsA learning scenario of 72 levelsA simple and intuitive interfaceAn application compatible with GAR use for Canopé TNEsBrume was co-designed with the CerCA laboratory of the University of Poitiers and the CEDRIC laboratory of the CNAM, the CNAM-Enjmin within the framework of the eFRAN / PIA program, and with the support of the CCAH, the CNC, the Caisse des Depots, and the New Aquitaine region.
Brume is also a Handitech award winner and a 2021 MIT Solve finalist.
